A dangerous doctrine: Once saved always saved

There are many doctrines that have caused splits in the church over the centuries. None more so than the doctrine of “Once Saved Always Saved.” We will examine:

• How salvation in Christ is eternal: not a one-time ritual

• How branches can be removed from the vine

• How we are given repeated warnings about departing

• How Jesus emphasized the importance of enduring

• How Paul uses himself as an example of the possibility of be a castaway

• How Peter gives his own example of the possibility of a believer being lost

• How security is eternal – only if you remain in Christ
