Get Ready! It's Time to meet thy God

In Amos 4, the children of Israel had continued to be rebellious towards God, and He continued to discipline them; all in an effort to get them to repent and return to Him. However, because of their stiff-neckedness, they refused to relent. So, God sends the prophet Amos to tell them to “prepare to meet thy God.” We will examine how:

· There is a universal need for humanity to be prepared to meet God

· The time is now for all humanity to make preparations to meet God

· Humanity’s preparations to meet God should be based on Scripture

· Conclusion
