"When will the beloved contend for the faith"

In Jude’s letter, those he calls the beloved [the saints], he exhorts to earnestly contend for the faith. This was not the original intent of his letter to them. However, something very important forced him to change the theme of his message – something that needed to be addressed. We will examine how:

·         Believers were called on to put up a defense for the faith

·         Certain [dangerous] men had crept into the body of Christ – the Church

·         These men were deniers of the Lord God and our Lord Jesus Christ

·         Believers today need to be diligent in contending for the faith?
