The Deficiency of Humanity

In Ecclesiastes 7, Solomon is giving sound instructions to his readers; instructions about using wisdom, instructions about not being overcome with wickedness or foolishness. However, in v. 20, Solomon says, even the “just man” sins. We will examine:

·         How to deal with the truth about humanity and sin

·         How human deficiencies should produce admittance and repentance

·         How we should see the sins of others differently because of our own deficiencies

·         How human deficiencies should make us seek out Christ and God’s grace

·         How we should be thankful we have a saving God
